Terms and Conditions — Boekhoudery

The Dutch version prevails if this translation conflicts with it.

1. Who and what

Outside Boxes (The Hague, KvK 93074735, VAT NL004998159B04), trading as Boekhoudery, provides an online chat and document service for accounting firms and their clients.

These terms apply to all B2B use of Boekhoudery.

2. The service

Boekhoudery is a communication layer — not an accounting suite and not a statutory archive. We work to keep the service available but do not promise a fixed uptime % or fixed support SLAs.

3. Account

You keep registration data accurate, protect logins, and ensure your users comply. Seats / portals follow your plan.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Free: no monthly fee, current limits apply.
• Starter / Pro: monthly plans. Prices on the site are excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.
• Paid plans start after request; we invoice manually. Pay within 14 days of the invoice date.
• No lock-in: cancel a paid plan monthly (email support@boekhoudery.nl). Cancellation takes effect after the current period.

5. Acceptable use

No unlawful content, spam, malware, security bypass, or misuse of others’ accounts. We may block access on breach.

6. Intellectual property

Software and brand are ours. Your content stays yours; you grant us a limited licence to run the service.

7. Privacy

For client data in the app you are usually controller and we are processor — see the DPA. For your own account and billing data we are controller — see the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

To the extent allowed by law: no liability for indirect damage or data loss. Our total liability per year is capped at what you paid us in the prior 12 months (Free: max €100). This does not apply to intent or wilful recklessness.

9. Changes

We may update these terms on the site with a new date. Material changes: we will try to email you.

10. Law

Dutch law. Courts of The Hague.
